Temple trying to schedule football game with UH this season

Temple has approached Hawaii about trying to schedule a football game against the Warriors at Aloha Stadium this December, sources at UH told the Star-Advertiser today.

Owls officials and UH acting athletic director Rockne Freitas were not immediately available for comment.

Temple's current schedule has 11 games with its last one on Nov. 23. Temple is 3-3 so far this season. Hawaii (1-5) has a 12-game schedule that ends Dec. 1. UH and teams that play the Warriors are allowed to play 13 regular-season games per season, one above the normal limit.
