Question by momo5j7: Why do you think there is such and influx of kids with allergies?
I was reading an article about a child with allergies http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/conditions/11/30/teddys.allergies/index.html?imw=Y&iref=mpstoryemail. I noticed that many children are coming up with these allergies, especially recently. Why do you think this is? Is it possible that many people didn?t know about allergies several years ago, or is it just that today?s kids are just more prone to getting allergies?

Mothers aren?t breast feeding long enough, children are being started on solids earlier than they should, food manufacturers are putting additives into food that don?t need to be there. There are a lot of reasons.
Doctors are diagnosing these things more often now.
